Thanks for stopping by. This is a continuation of a semi-regular blog post that I've been featuring on Facebook for the last few years. Several friends and regular readers had been encouraging me to expand it, and move it over it a less 'sleazy' venue (describing Facebook as the online equivalent of the scummiest bar in town...

...so here we are. This is the new place. I hope everyone enjoys it, and refrains from burning holes in the carpets, spilling drinks, or making a racket at all hours and getting me evicted. Or, just go nuts, and knock yourselves out. It's kind of akin to moving to a new town, and starting from scratch. I hope some of the old regulars pop in...and some new faces join the fray. Thematically, it's all pretty open-ended here. Essentially, it's a loose journal detailing the observations and experiences of someone essentially living in self imposed exile in Japan...that individual being myself. Stories will be told. Old tales, new tales, daily exploits, anecdotes...the view from here. There will be music, art, amusement, politics, and opinion. The past, present and future. The whole thing, with a big, cheesy red bow on top. If all goes well, this will stagger into a more realised work...perhaps an actual book of some kind. For now, here we are. I look forward to hearing from you . If you are amused or feel so inclined, subscribe and join up. Cheers.
